Saturn and its symbolism have appeared in the most relevant science and magic treaties of our history, it has been associated with the paramount night and is the furthest planet that the ancients could see in the night sky. Represents at the same time a state of melancholy and divine inspiration for the magicians, painters and alchemists of those times.
It has brought with itself the revaluation of darkness and the powers of the night, representing the most elevated and desirable principles in the mystic arts.
Considered raw material of every metal regarding nature, Saturn rules the first stage of the alchemic process of transmutation to transform man into a superior being. The alchemic process is qualified as magnum opus. Counterparts, still isolated, are opposed, but little by little they will pass onto a free state of perfect harmony and union.
The planet of the seven moons, is the door to the divine, and the night symbolizes an originary principle where the other elements of the Universe are gestated.
Also has also been focus of great interplanetary missions with the purpose of exploring the planet and its moons. One of them, the largest, Titan, has presented indications of a liquid hydrocarbons ocean and a
